The Lex Electronica team is pleased to present the new Fall 2009 issue.
As we have sometimes done in the past, we have divided this issue into two parts. The first is in support of the next generation of researchers, and we intend to publish articles written by undergraduate and graduate students every Fall from now on. This time you will find three articles on the general topic of information technology (R. Ali, C. Lebrun and J. Zheng), a retrospective on Canadian strategy with respect to biotechnology (F. Leroux) and finally a topical text on SLAPPs (A. Pasca).
The second part of this issue fulfils our usual mandate, and contains four articles on a range of topics, including labour union freedom, Canadian case law concerning the Charter of Rights and Freedoms (Y. Perrier), international labour regulations over the last ten years (R C. Drouin and I. Duplessis), protection of traditional knowledge through a new approach to intellectual property (A-C. Gayet), and European directives applying to electronic transactions (C. Riefa). [More]
