Lex Electronica of the Centre de recherche en droit public (CRDP) of the Université de Montréal, created by Karim Benyekhlef in 1995, is an international law review with the aim of informing both jurists and non-jurists of recent developments in technology, not only in regard to information and communication, but also health and biotechnology.
The Lex Electronica review also publishes work related to theories of law and social change and covers the various research areas of the CRDP., i.e. Communications and Information Technologies Law, Medical and Environmental Biotechnology Law, and Law and New Social Relationships.
2005 marks the tenth anniversary of Lex Electronica, the first online law review in the French language and one of the first online reviews in any language.
Lex Electronica is a bilingual electronic law review (French and English) published three times annually: in winter (January-February), spring (May-June) and fall (September-October).
