Article Submissions
1. Editorial policy
1.1. Lex Electronica only publishes original, previously unpublished texts, drafted in French or in English.
1.2. Every text submitted for publication must be exclusive to the Lex Electronica journal.
2. Procedure
2.1. Submissions take place upon the reception of the proposed article. The Editorial Committee will then be asked to examine the proposal. A proposal will either be accepted or refused.
2.2. Upon reception, the Editorial Committee will transmit the article to the Scientific Panel for a general review. Should it feel necessary to do so, the Scientific Panel may request that the author make certain corrections to the article's content. The author must follow the panel's recommendations before presenting a new version of his article to the Editorial Committee. The author must also respect the stipulations outlined in the Editing Charter.
2.3. Articles held for publication will appear in one of the three annual editions of Lex Electronica.
3. Presentation
3.1. Each text must be typed according to the guidelines outlined in the Editing Charter and submitted via e-mail to isabelle.lemelin.1@umontreal.ca in the MS Word (.doc) format.
3.2. A synopsis of 300 to 400 words in both French and English must accompany the text. Our staff will however take care of the translation should the author express his inability to supply one.
3.3. Each text must be preceded by a summary or outline that indicates its divisions and subdivisions. It must also contain the names of all contributing authors, along with a complete listing of their coordinates (telephone number, fax number, e-mail address). These names and coordinates will be reproduced with the text so that readers may exchange their comments.
3.4. Quotes must be reported at the end of the article and numbered consecutively.
